Welcome to Oxford
Breast Buddy Group
We believe as a community with individual experiences, we can come together to provide that resource to support each other.
Oxford Breast Buddy Group (OBBG) is a support group run by people affected by breast cancer to support others in need.
We are grateful and fortunate to be surrounded by medical facilities and specialists providing a state-of-the-art evidence-based care to patients with breast cancer. This has resulted in continually improving cancer outcomes.
Psychological healing takes much longer and support needs to be offered outside the hospital setting to be both effective and lasting.
Founded in 2015 by Professor PG Roy, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, along with several patients, OBBG understands the value and power of human connection and the resultant impact on healing.
How do we support our Members?
