  • Lend-a-Hand

    19th September - 10am - 12 noon

    Manor Hospital, Oxford


    A great way to spend a Saturday morning — chat with fellow members in a comfortable, safe space (with tea, coffee and biscuits!), and help with our work.

    Activities include sewing or stuffing OBBG’s signature cushions, writing messages of encouragement for patients, and preparing our post‑surgery goody bags and patient folders.

    New members are especially welcome!

  • Weekly Mindfulness with Bruce

    Weekly sessions on Zoom

    With more than 30 years' experience, Bruce Greenhalgh is a certified mindfulness teacher by Bangor University, a psychotherapist and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. Bruce has been running weekly Mindfulness sessions for OBBG members on Zoom for several years - with 7pm on a Wednesday a firm date in many members' diaries.

    There is currently a 4 week gap - sessions return on 22nd April

    These Meditation Sessions are led by meditation teacher and OBBG Trustee, Karoona Ramah.

On October 4th, 2024, we gathered at the historic Examination Schools, University of Oxford, for a Fashion Show & Gala Evening. Over 150 guests joined us to celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of women affected by Breast Cancer. See some photos from the event below!

Midsummer Mindfulness

Book launch & Facing the Future gallery

On 17th July 2026, we welcomed guests to an evening celebrating the launch of a new Oxford University Press book co-edited by Professor PG Roy, alongside a powerful portrait exhibition by artists Ruth Swain and Paul Starns, titled 'Facing the Future'.
