Pamela Cookey is widely recognised as one of the world’s best attacking Netball players, with Netball World Cup and Commonwealth Games medals amongst many career achievements.

After retiring she has kept involved in the game as Director of Netball at Severn Stars and is now a member of the Sky Sports Broadcasting team. As the Mintridge Foundation Netball ambassador and now the Independent Chair of Fearless Women, Pamela is actively working 

to help drive positive change and enhance women in sport.

In 2024, Pamela joined us as celebrity guest for the I’m Celebrating Gala Event, where she gave an inspirational speech about determination and coming back from adversity and challenge. From 2025 Pamela has joined the OBBG as patron, and will be working closely with us to raise awareness, provide support, and educate others.
